CHANT Makes a Statement with Their New Music Video "Primetime Annihilation"

Bradley Bills, creator of the Tribal-Industrial-Art Rock project CHANT, releases his new music video, Primetime Annihilation.

Bills has developed a reputation has one of the most in demand drummers in the Industrial world, playing drums for iconic artists such as Die Krupps, My Life with the Thrill Kill Kult and most recently Pigface. With CHANT, Bills has toured with Lords of Acid, KMFDM and continues to crank out drum-driven Industrial Rock.

HYDRA, CHANT's first new album in five years, was released this October and resonates with the current intense political climate. Recorded, mixed and produced by Bradley, HYDRA tells a story of the rise and fall of a tyrant when an unlikely hero creates a movement for freedom that spreads and can never die.

The explosive music video for Primetime Annihilation showcases a glimpse of CHANT’s new live line up, with Bradley acting as the self-obsessed demagogue who takes on a game show host persona, reveling in the chaotic new cycles that he creates.

“As I was writing the lyrics for Primetime Annihilation I had visions of a media blitz projected onto this character, this self-appointed ‘President God’, who would certainly have a mirror ball jacket, so of course we had to make one - It weights 35+ lbs! Cuts and scrapes from writhing in the jacket aside, it was totally worth it.”
